I started doing the Out of the box technique using Nestabilities then the card took seemed to take over...I ended up making a frame and popping up my hydrangea. I cut out two hydrangeas..the first is adhered under the flower only so the leaves hang over the edge and allowed me to bend them for extra dimension. The second I cut only the flower out and popped it up at the center so I could put up the edges.
I stamped the hydrangeas on watercolor paper and sponged with each for total coverage...and sponged with hot cocoa on the edges.
I started with a Ripe Olive frame and liked the dp one better. Fun that I could just cut out a new one and adhere it on. So this card took a life of its own as I went along. Hee. Usually I don't make any changes once it is made...but not this one. Hee. The Hydrangea looked blaw to me so I took the Wild Huckleberry match Copic and colored in the little spots between the flowers and the centers. I liked it then. I think I should name it..evidently it has a personality. Hee.

It's always interesting to know what happened before the card is posted. A great series of designing challenges to get to this gorgeous end result. In the end we see your signature vivid colors and a beautiful card.
