I made this side step card for the current Stamping in Time assignment with ODBD to use glass/crystal/clear in our cards.
Metaphorically speaking a falling glass resulted in the stormy sea on this card .
More literally, there is Glossy Accents on the glass of the lighthouse, and the little panel with the birds is Tim Holtz Memory Glass. It was an attempt at the Faux Sea Glass from the Resources, but while it sat on my desk for a few weeks the surface had got scratched, so I had to reheat it and melt some of the UTEE off.
Main image is Light of the World stamped with Versafine Black on a piece of watercolour paper cut to fit the left-hand panel and continue along the bottom front. It's coloured with distress inks - Antique Linen, Scattered Straw, Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky, Broken China, Barn Door, Soot Black.
The birds are from Shore Thing, and it's more or less the Faux Sea Glass tutorial, but after I had to re-vamp it, I sprayed with Glimmer Mist instead of spraying with water, because I think some of the Perfect Pearls had come off.
Middle layer is a scrap of paper embossed with D'vine Swirl and swiped with Faded Jeans. I cut into the swirls and tucked in a little boat.
Back panel is more of the waves, plus a verse from Scripture Series 1 stamped on watercolour paper, cut with Labels 8 and edges sponge. My card and chosen verse tie in with the story in Luke 8 about the storm on Lake Galilee.

What a wonderful step card, Sabrina. I love your "glass" touches with your terrific images. The little sailboat is so cute..reminds me of ones children float in fountains.
