This took me a couple of days to make this wall hanging, but loved the idea I was making something for my daughter. I started with an 8 1/2 x 11" blank canvas, painted it with Claudine Hellmuth's Studio paint, then stamped some images from one of Crafty Secrets new stamp set called "Tea with Alice". I cut a piece of pink paper, sewed about 1/4" from the edge with the sewing machine, then distressed the edges. All of the images are from Crafty Secrets new releases called Wonderland Tea - Creative Scraps. For the main image, I used Spellbinders™ new Fleur de Lis Rectangles die template to give a girly, yet elegant touch. The little rabbit in the upper right hand corner has a stamped sentiment from the same stamp set "Tea with Alice" from Crafty Secrets. Also, to help keep that girly feel, I used the flower image (upper right hand corner) from another Crafty Secrets Creative Scraps called "Little Blessings". But as much as I love putting all of this together, I think my favorite part was making the roses, and ruffle... The ruffle was made by cutting and embossing Spellbinders #S7-018 Big Scalloped Border Grand, and then making it look like fabric.
