The current Stamping in Time assignment for ODBD is clear/glass, to celebrate their third anniversary. I decided to do cracked glass - not a technique I use very often. I'm more likely to melt it again to get a perfect finish if it does crack accidentally .
5 3/4" square base, sponged with Walnut Stain distress ink. Paper is Basic Gray Basics kraft, heavily distressed. I crumpled it, inked it and distressed the edges. Glass panel is Vine Frames and Scripture Series 1 stamped with a dark brown pigment ink. There's also a vine from SU Vintage Vogue stamped with ColorBox Chalk Ice Blue, but it doesn't really show in the picture, and the card in between the edge of the panel and the frame is also sponged with blue. Three layers of UTEE for the cracked glass. Vines are Sizzix flourishes, old Prima flowers and the SU bird punch to finish it off.

Fabulous project! I really like the effect you have created with the music base paper for the bird and the soft colors. I've used the cracked glass a couple time and would say it's pretty easy and you've done it masterfully. TFS

I can't even tell you why, but your card made me feel good and the longer I looked at it - the more I felt. I know - sound's too weird even for me! Your card is so, so beautiful with the vines, flowers and your beautiful technique. Maybe it's the verse that made me feel so good - not sure, but it is gorgeous!
