An inability to read would be the only excuse for doing the wrong challenge, that or stupidity and I would rather be mistaken than stupid! The challenge at Crafty Secrets this week was to use one stamp set. So you ask what has my card to do with one stamp set - really nothing. I do a few challenges and I had it in my head this challenge was to include stitching, so I stitched. I have never embroidered before and this took hours to do so I'm uploading it anyway.
I tried to stitch on paper but it kept tearing so I mounted the image panel on striped fabric. The gorgeous white leafy things are cut from a piece of antique lace my Mom gave me.

So sweet! I can see how that stiching would have taken a good long time - a labour of love! Looks great, hope you have someone special to give it to who will appreciate the effort put in!
