They might hatch into little green birds .
For the WT challenge to use felt. When I was looking all over for a few little Hero Arts felt flowers I found a template I'd made for a basket last year, so this took a whole different direction.
I cut the basket from Bazzill, embossed it with Forest Branches and wiped with ColorBox Pigment Cocoa ink. My egg punch was too small, so I used a 1" balloon punch for the eggs. Using Sizzix Little Sizzix Classics card I shaped them a bit with a cake decorating tool and sponged the edges with Cocoa again. After arranging them in the basket I cut another basket and laid it behind, to hide all the evidence of using balloons and add a bit of strength. Don't remember the brand of the felt bird, it wasn't in its pack. I tied a bow and added it to the handle along with the Hero Arts flower that started the whole process.
Computer generated sentiment (Amelie font), layered on a scalloped Nestabilities. I remember giving my Dad an Easter card with that sentiment on it about 40 years ago - I loved that card!! I got it back afterwards and had it for years.
Thanks for such a fun challenge, Kim. It pushed me not to pull out felt and cut my own shapes but use up things that have been lying around.
