Wow I had such fun doing this for the Apron Strings birthday celebrations. This was the challenge for Day 2 of the month-long celebration. I have never made a double-layout before but I found this really fun. The kit I had from February really helped.
I used my crop-a-dile to punch holes, then sewed linen thread through, in an attempt to look sea-sidey! I was aiming for the shoelace look but it's clearly been a long time since I laced a pair of shoes as I'm sure they shouldn't look like this!

This reminds me of a challenge I hosted a couple of years ago to put lacing on your page. Your dps turned out wonderful! Love all the circles and stitching. It's a very unique and fun sketch and you did a beautiful job. YThe journaling looks great as a quarter-circle. I can't wait to see more double-pagers from you!!

I think the lacing looks great, and nice job with the circular elements as well. I scrap almost exclusively in double-page spreads so I wonder how on earth everyone else can do the single page ones ;) Fabulous job, can't wait to see what you do next.

This is a super sketch that turned out into a great DPS! Love the lacing and the holes in the large circle. You did a great job lining everything up too! Very pretty.

Congrats on your very first DPS! I used to scrap ONLY dps', but I have been doing a few 1 pagers for a year or so (mostly of my fave pics). It is fun to do both! I really love your blue/brown color scheme (classic choice!). I have not tried any lacing on my layouts, but after looking at your page, I think I may want to try. It really makes it look more 'beachy'!
