Thanks, Stef, for another wonderful inspiration site to explore. I went into the Cath Kidston web site without any agenda of my own for a change. When I saw the Mini Train Haberdashery Fabric, I knew right away I wanted to use it. I seldom make cards for little boys (since I have 5 granddaughters), but I have wanted to use this train DP from Nana's Kids for a long, long time. (My nieces have little boys.)
The hardest part of this card was the monkey. I tried it in several colors (natural monkey colors), I paper pieced it, I cut it out and cut it out and cut it out. Finally I decided since monkeys cannot really drive trains, they don't really need to be in colors found in nature. So, here's my orange and blue monkey. Before he was finished, though, I nearly needed to call in an orthopedic surgeon since his leg suffered near amputation.
TFL and enjoy the weekend. It's gloomy here which made photographing the card as difficult as making the monkey.

Lorie,
I love your cute little card with the monkey! Your comment about the amputation of his leg made me laugh out loud! I can't tell you how many times, I've cut off or almost cut off something important to the image!
