Congratulations Kim aka Luv Flowers for becoming our newest Queen # 50. I went to your gallery and knew right away I wanted to use some torn edges, I love the look but seldom remember to do it. Thanks for the inspiration Kim and that little extra push.
I also wanted to play in the inspiration challenge today. So I used the layout from Kim's card and inspiration for the scallops and piercing (dots ) and similar colors from this fabric.
The card went together very quickly, due to the fabulous inspiration from Kim and the inspiration site. A quick water coloring on the flower, eb the white panel and tore the edges and I was basically done. I needed a birthday card this week and this will work perfectly.
thanks for looking

Very pretty, Irene. What a sweet flower. I, too, went with some of Kim's torn edges....something I had not done in a long time. This is a beautiful birthday card for some lucky recipient.

Thanks so much for this lovely CAS card in my honor Irene!! I love the pretty foliage in the green and pink colors, with the clean white embossed bg. It was nice of you to think of me today, and I appreciate all of your comments along the way also. :>)
