I headed over to this week's inspiration site with the primary goal of trying to decide on colours to use for a card to honour our outgoing Queen for the Day, redbugdriver aka Bugzi aka Karen. I had chosen Karen's Eastern Monochromatic card but was in need of a kick to help me choose a colour.
This week's Inspiration Challenge site is full of fun prints and patterns but it was when I spied this fun dotted mini tote that I remembered this week's Ways to Use It Challenge was to use polka dots.
The closest I could come to the colour of the tote was some Pacific Point DSP I had stashed away in my Rubber Room. A few punches to make a border and a shimmery flower, stamped and punched a sentiment and, to quote Bugzi, easy-peasy.
Karen and her hubby will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary later this month so congratulations and best wishes to both of them!
PT: Border punch, oval punch and flower punch. Oh, and I punched a bunch of teeny hearts to put around the card. Does that count Pamzi?

Sweet of you to honor Karen with this precious and fun card! I totally think the hearts should count in the punch tally - Pamzi always counts them (especially if you put them inside the card so they fly out when Karen opens it).

I opened my Queen gallery and what a delight met my eyes! I love this pretty, pretty monochromatic beauty. Is that redundant?
You have blessed me today and I thank you. I love that you could combine these challenges as you took time to play from my gallery.
BTW, I'd count all those tiny hearts in the PT. After all.... they are punched!!
