Just uploading the card I made for the Papertrey Ink February Blog Hop; hop challenge: scallops. It's also for Papertrey's Make It Monday Challenge #3: Glitter Strips with Scor-Tape. (I laid down two strips of 1/4" Scor-Tape side-by-side and piled on some Pink Paislee Chocolate Pixie Stix glitter. Love how this turned out!)
I made my scalloped frame by punching 1/2" circles and individually adhering them to the back of my main panel. I also used a scalloped border punch along the bottom of my long panel. My birthday wishes sentiment (from the Papertrey Ink set Everyday Button Bits) is stamped on an adorable blank ticket that I won in some blog candy from Paper Crafts Go-To Gal Teri Anderson. How cute is that?? And that yummy layered flower? It's a Frosty Pink Lollipop by Prima, sent to me by Debzi333 as part of my prize for the December Gallery Comment Contest that she hosted (Thanks, Debzi!!!!). I thought it might make a fantastic focal point.
Thanks for taking a look!
Emily

Pamzi's gonna be sooo jealous when she sees how good you are with your sewing machine... Love your card Emzi. The glitter strip turned out great! Must try that! Pretty ribbon for that bow too - you churn out amazing cards at an amazing speed. Great work!

Woo Hoo Emzi, this is one fine piece of art. Debzi sent you that beautiful flower - don't think she didn't have ulterior motives my friend - that flower is a perfect place to insert her transmitters - so no lying on punch count okay? Beautiful details, great b/g, ticket and awesome STITCHING - I saw what Dizzi said - the nerve!! Tell Benzi to send me that sewing machine she promised and I will be a pro in no time!

Wow is that pretty. I just love this color pink and the frosted edges on that flower look amazing. To me it looks good enough to eat since I cut my calorie intake with no sweets. It looks like icing I could lick right about now!!! lol

Nifty! Love your flower and its background! Better beware those spy devices though...might want to store this one in a dark drawer with sound insulation!
