A new Thursday brings a new Stampin' B's DT Challenge!! This week we are celebrating our 100th challenge, and challenge hostess Joanne says, "Strike up the band!" Her challenge to us is to create a project using something music related.
My felt bird comes from the cute Etsy shop Crafty Paper Girl. I couldn't wait to use it on a card, and today's StampinB challenge was perfect!
The sheet music behind my felt bird was taken from a vintage hymnal I bought last year at a local used book store expressly for deconstructing to use in papercrafting projects. And I was so pleased to dip into my droolworthy Pink Paislee Sweetness pad for the background DP.
Thanks for taking a peek!

What an adorable little bird! And you made the perfect home for him. I love the gorgeous background paper and the stitching around the card's border (which provides a nice compliment to the stitching on the bird). Great work!

I fell in love with your little 'birdie' when I saw it on your blog. What a great idea to incorporate it into your Stampin B's challenge this week. Tweet, tweet.

Even more wonderful than that sweet bird and the awesome musical bg and the gorgeous stitching, are those amazing strips of punched perfection! Love it! You, my dear, sweet Emzi, keep sending me over the edge with the wonderful punches that you find. I have had to stop looking at new releases. No, really!! I have what I refer to as "Collector and Completer Syndrome" which means I not only collect things I like, but I need to have the complete set! That's a lot of punches when you think about it, isn't it! Have a perfectly punchy day!

I am drooling at your paper as I type....oppps - will have to clean off the keyboard! Oh my Emzi - you are really cranking out a great variety of lovely and creative cards!!! Nicely done!!! Hey - just have to tell you I ordered up some twine. I also made about 10 birthday cards -but 5 of them are the same -and - ohh Emzi - they are not my finest cards -even though I tried hard to make them nice. What to do!! Even DS GF who was over this evening making cards confessed to me that they were not my usual FAB cards - kind code words from DS's girlfriend that translates into - oh no what have you done!!
