Here's my CAS card for The Great Outdoors Challenge. I used a Martha Stewart bird stamp that hasn't seen ink in years and Mark's Finest Papers Pears & Hollyhock for the sentiment. I colored with Prismacolor pencils, did not blend so the bird would look feathery, added a ribbon, and pierced the corner.
Hardest part was taking a picture since the card would not stand up and the light was bad every place I tried to take a picture (my keyboard, the piano, my computer desk, the liquor cabinet, and my work table--settled on the piano).
TFL. I'm ready for a nap.

I love each and every one of your cards, Lorie! This one is just so pretty. I haven't seen this bird image before - and it's just lovely! Thanks for sharing!

Okay, let's see: you've mentioned the liquor cabinet here. I think you also may have mentioned trying to take a photo of your card on top of the cabinet? Am I right so far? How did the liquor cabinet become involved with taking photos? Did you really expect to get a great photo 'on top' of the liquor cabinet? ? Lori, were you starting a little early today? However early you did start, you sure managed to create a soft and subtle card w/your MS image and sweet simplicity.

this card is really nice. I love birds and I have this bird stamp and I hardly ever use it because I forgot I had it. So I saved yours. I love the look of this on the kraft color. Pretty bird.

Pesky cards that won't stand up! I can relate. Love this CAS card, the piercing really adds a nice touch and I love the look of the colored pencils on the kraft paper.
