This card was made for VSN challenge D - to make a mix mash of techniques.
I tried a flap card.
The background is embossed with black on glossy paper then I used a white crayon to highlight some areas and sponged overtop - my attempt at crayon resist. It didn't work as well as I hoped, but the background still looks neat.
I'm not sure if making a flower is considered a technique or not - the flower is just a scallop punch cut with slits and I added a circle punch and button to the center.
I used the new Springtime Vintage designer series paper

Gorgeous. The effect you achieved with your background/bottom part of the card is absolutely fantastic. Whoever gets this card will be very, very lucky.

I think making your own embellishments definitely counts as a technique. This is stunning! I love the background and the non-a2 card! Well done! Thanks for playing in my challenge!
