Finally, I finished my card for today's challenge! It's funny, but I've actually had this dp and lt grey c/s out for several days and the challenge to use grey came just in time and gave me the push to finish!
After cutting the layers of dp and lt grey fiber c/s, I stamped the anchor on the top layer of dp. I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the image then attached all the layer together.
I made a sort of layered pennant/flag out of vellum, edged the layers w/ the marker and stitched it to the dp layers. The sentiment was stamped on more vellum and cut in the shape of pennant banners, backed w/ some of the lt grey c/s and stitched down.
The two sizes of circle punches were used to make the backing for my dull silver brad. Everything is attached to a 5.5 x 4.25 lt grey fiber card. I just bought this new mini sewing machine and I can tell it's going to take a little getting used to, lol. It sews great, just not quite as smooth as my big machine. But it sure is small and lightweight.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
