Here is my card for this week's Teapot Tuesday Challenge. I was so late last week that I made sure I arrived on time for the tea party this week! This week we are headed to Westland, MI where we are donning our most elegant attire for our own version of the Academy Awards! While there, we hope to catch the attention of Clancey, who has his eye out for a new leading lady! We also hope to get picked for the "best of" category by Simone Shivers. Check out the rest of the story here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...e-t521037.html
I brought a fancy dress and lots of bling for the event! I sure hope I don't end up on the "worst dressed" list!
In real life our cards are going to Lauren, an aspiring young actress whose recent medical issues are preventing her from fulfilling her acting dreams. Lauren is the daughter of fellow SCSer, Joy (cotdsffs). Lauren had to resign from her coveted apprenticeship at the Purple Rose Theatre because her health and that has made her health issues even more difficult for her to handle. Hopefully our cards will lift her spirits a little. You can read more about Lauren here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...4-post182.html
Off to get some tea and cookies, since they were all gone when I arrived so late last week!

Carla, my dah-ling, you have taken away my breath with this mah-velously beautiful creation! I absolutely ADORE her smashing and glamorous sash, as well as the glitzy netting surrounding her.
Tell me, my dah-ling, would you mind terribly if I inspected your bling? It's terribly imperative that all bling be authenticated with my jeweler's glass at today's A-Card-A-Me Awards. Thank you, dah-ling. I knew YOU'd understand.

It's hard to beat black and white to create an elegant feel to a card. The soft pink on the dress is a lovely contrast to the black and white. Your sparkly bling takes it to the next level. Would you save a cookie for me, darling?

Hey Carla! Sorry about the cookies going missing last week! I have no clue what happened! Whut? Why you looking at me with that quizical brow? Snort!
OMG! Hey if diamonds are in this year, you are a sure fire winner....I believe you have a great shot at an award this year! You remember last year don't you....when some of the girls wore hiking boots? And somebody even fell of the red carpet trying to get the little mud balls off the stage cuz they were tripping the teapotters? Yah, much improved this year! I think we are represented well this year with the likes of you, your outfit and jewels!
