I asked a friend was it boring to give her cards for her birthday yet again. No, she LOVES cards. Since I'm seeing her this week I made a bag-a-lope that would have been a bit difficult to mail but will be fine to deliver personally. That's the last of my large white envelopes, I'd better look out for some more.
Tutorial in Resources as linked above.
Front was covered with Basic Grey Perhaps, and a scalloped white Bazzill border along the top. I punched green flowers for the outside and 1/2" circles for the inside to reinforce where I was threading the ribbon through.
Main panel is white Bazzill Bling, cut with Lacey Squares. I added a Sizzix Vine, Spellbinders bird, some Primas and a rose made using Tim Holtz's tutorial, but this time I used light card instead of grunge paper. I used a Spellbinders Blossoms die, I couldn't be bothered buying the Sizzix one used in the video . I was very pleased with how it turned out. Hero Arts sentiment cut with Fancy Tags, and to make the bag easy to re-use the tag is just hooked on round the vine and lace edge.
Dew Drops along the top finished it off.
Now to pick out a few cards to pop into it .
