Hi! I made this card for today's CAS challenge: make your own background. I was stumped when I first read this challenge. But after perusing the gallery and looking at cards others had made, I thought I can do this!
I decided to go with the reverse of a die cut scallop circle and sponged it in with various ink colors. Stamped letters, a bee and a flowery branch several times each in very light neutrals. I then stamped a bird on a seperate piece of cs, watercolored it and cut it out. Popped it up on dimensionals. Added a sentiment and the card was done!
TFL and have a blessed day!

This is such a lovely card! The pastels are all spring and the bird looks so sweet popped right on top. The sentiment is great too - it's always good to know that you are in someone's thoughts and prayers. Whoever gets this card will be very happy!

What abeautiful card, Gail. Love the bg you created with the print and sponged colors. Great coloring on the bird too...it looks like an irisdescent starling.
