A friend asked me to make a birthday card for her friend so I decided to try the TLC challenge, bargello design. This is a great way to use up leftover dp strips. The sentiment is computer generated, cut with Nesties circles and sponged while in the die. Finished off by adding a flower, button, twine, and faux stitching with a red marker.
Here's a P.S. - I just read Anne's description and realized I offset my squares entirely instead of partially too!!

You used such pretty papers for your Bargello design, which looks great on the square card. I also like the circle sentiment panel as your focal point. Pretty card!

Lovely papers for the BG! I did the same thing with my first attempt aligning the squares...it's just a patchwork vs. bargello...both pretty in my opinion!
