This card is for today's Featured Stamper - StampGroover (Cookie). I had this card in my favorites gallery. I loved her idea to really show off the butterfly... Aloha Butterfly by StampGroover at Splitcoaststampers
I used a different monochromatic color scheme and I also used the Fall-To-Layout this week (although I left off the sentiment)... http://cleanandsimplestamping.blogspot.com/
In case you can't tell from the photo - the butterfly is an embosslit with texture and also has rhinestones on it. I cut out a circle in the red and popped that piece up so the butterfly could be in the frame. I also used the "debossed" side of the dots texture. Then I popped it up again.
I used some patterned paper (Poppy Parade from the SU hostess pack) and the ribbon punch and white tafetta ribbon.

Gorgeous! Very bold but very balanced. Love it!
