I made this ages ago for the above challenge - WT304 - which asked us to use twine in our projects.
I have loved seeing this used in various cards etc and was dying to have a go but did'nt have the necessary twine. Being totally impatient and not wanting to wait for a crafty order to be delivered I visited my local Iron Mongers and picked up a ball of regular garden twine. When I got home I discovered it was a bit thick for what I intended to use it for but soon solved this by finding that the strands seperated really easily to make usuable thread. The only problem with that was that it was very fragile and tended to shred but again I solved this by spraying it with cheap hair laquer! Worked a treat! So now I have a whopper of a ball of twine for the fraction of the crafty shop price!
Anyway as I said earlier, I made this for this particular challenge then promptly lost it amongst the chaos that is my craft room!
I know that Tilda is certainly not to everyone's taste (heaven forbid if we all liked the same thing!) and I don't have a massive collection of them but I do like these pirate images as they are something a "bit different"
I really hope you enjoyed the peek and THANK YOU for stopping by my little corner of SCS x
