Photo Details
Poster: asolven

I used to make Pop Out cards all the time years ago and I thought this set would be perfect for the technique.

I have posted more details on my blog (after February 17th) so check it out including the front of the card.

A very unusual card! There are many books on the topic, some good, some not so good. I have been practicing because I would like to make a pop-up book for a special young lady (she's 7). Do you have any recommendations?

This card is so simple and elegant it is not only timeless, ageless but, well, universal.

Thanks for sharing!

Hi Patricia,

I don't have any recommendations for a whole book unless you attached them together like a star book.

So the back of card #1 attached to the front of card #2, back of card #2 to the front of card #3 and so on. Thread them together with a ribbon which would tie them shut.

When opened they would "fan" out to form a circle.

Make sense?

Alison
