Thanks to djahner, a/k/a Deb, I finally made a Shutter Card. I'm kind of a-scared of techniques, so I feel good that I tackled this one. Deb sent me the measurements with a card she sent me. It took me a bit to figure it all out, but I did. So, here we go.
I used a variety of dp's and added an embossed flower in the middle on the first white mat. I also embossed the white mat and added 2 birds and pearls. A couple sparkly birds were added to the 2 small top panels. The rest is just a combination of patterns and colors. Some were topped with flowers and one of the panels has a punched sentiment.
Thanks SO MUCH for looking and I do believe Ms. Deb has a b/day coming up very soon. Hmmm...wonder if she'll get this card!
This also qualifies for the StampinB Challenge to use birds. I have a total of 6.5 - can you find them all? There is one barely peeking out of ef and the others are on the dp and punched birds. I used .5 of a bird as part of the head is chopped off on the top part of the dp!!! How cruel.
PT: 7 - including flower diecuts, sentiment and birds.

Beautiful card, I would have never thought of using an ef before cutting my flower, it gives it even more dimension. I love your color combo and your birdies are arranged wonderfully to fulfill your challenge. I think Ms Deb would be thrilled to receive this beauty, however if you decide to send it to someone else I would be a very happy recipient. Haha! TFS

Wow! These are really fun cards to make but very complicated. It took me all day to make the one I made - you know I don't do many cards that take more than an hour (truth be told I don't even like to take that long). I love that flower and all the cool papers you used. This is really stunning. You might make it on Crystal's favorite stampers list after all - I can't wait to show her this one.

7X5 equals 35 pounds lost , according to our Punchkateers diet!! Amazing!!! I'm afraid of technique cards too but this is marvellous! Are you sure you didn't need help with the measuring , little 1-2 Digit IQ Fruitcake.. I sure hope Benzi won't be squabbling with the Other Deb that Benzi wants this card because you know how the Benz lovez Birds!!!!
Beautiful papers - with birds!!!! Wonderful creation, Pamzi - but I fear for you -with Benzi in the picture! ;)

Whoa!! Pamzi, you have created a magnificent card!!!! Did you say this was for Debzi? :: Forget the Debz, you know you made this card especially for me with the birds and bird nests. Ooh, I love the pretty designer paper. How long did you work on MY card? You'll have to put that poor bird's head back on...I don't like headless birds. LOL
Seriously, this is outstanding!!! Now, I'll have to try this. Thanks for joining the Stampin B's 'bird' challenge this week.

Wowza! This is absolutely awesome! I haven't tackled this card style/technique yet myself, but you totally rocked it Pam! What a fabulous choice of dsp and colors. Nicely done!
