It snowed again last night & it was so windy this morning that I was sure I was going to see Curt flying around w/ his friend Rosco!!!
Today we went to Santa Barbara Chic. Oh what gorgeous sites to see!
I chose this Burst of Color for my inspiration: http://www.kellyoshiroevents.com/blo...urst-of-color/
I used tulips by PSX & watercolored them w/ Crayola w/c paints. After I started cutting I was asking myself 'Why?' But I sure like the look. I placed my bucket of tulips on lace for a table effect. This lace must be 40 yrs. old from my old stash of sewing stuff. The bucket is secure to the lace & most of the tulips are on pop dots.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

Breathtaking! The colors of tulips in the Spring - and they are gorgeous on the lace tablecloth! I love how you cut out the tulips (a lot of work), but they are so exquisite on the lace!

Hey, we ARE neighbors! I was making my way up the thread and commenting, but I didn't see you. I LOVE this image and have "almost" bought it several times. You did a really great job on the case. Your colors are GORGEOUS. And I'll be over for that tea.
