SC188 is one of my favorite sketch challenges so here it is again. The main bg panel was done with orange and yellow waxes and a craft iron (encaustic) The side panels were done with the same technique but different wax colors and patterns. The side panels are simple a square cut in half and to make the two triangles. Then the poppy is stamped, colored with copics, sponged (antique linen distress ink) and painted with Crackle Accents, a one step crackle medium. I thought the lace looked sort of antiquey to compliment the crackles in the poppies? This was very easy and didn't take more than 20 minutes except the drying time for the crackle accents.
