What a cool site for today's Inspiration Challenge! I had already finished the main image and picked out some cobalt c/s but just couldn't get it to all come together on a card. Then I saw the 2nd Pic on the page and it hit me! Yellow! Add some yellow! I really liked the sunny yellow next to the water and all that beautiful blue.
After white embossing the anchor scene and the greeting, I sponged on the two blue inks then wiped the ink off of the embossing. I tore the edges so it would leave a white edge. The butter yellow piece was spritzed w/ water then I placed a piece of plastic canvas mesh on top and ran it thru my embossing machine to get this great texture. The eyelets were added to the bottom of the cobalt c/s and a little 'rope' was tied in a figure 8 knot. Everything is attached to a 5.5 x 4.25 white card. That's one March bday card finished and a gazillion more to go. I wish my family would pick another month to be born.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Great masculine card. I want to be in the inspiration pictures you picked. Lounging at the beach sounds heavenly right now as my feet and hands are cold.
Hugs and smiles
