Those Kite brothers thought they had a plan to get respect...but when they got to the "training school for Air Traffic Controllers" something was amiss....a total miss that is....Brooke the crook took these 2 chumps for a ride....why do they need respect? go here for the complete story:
This card started out totally different but I tried 3 ways to get my hot air balloons to look masculine and it wasn't happening. Driving home from doing errands, I had an upclose encounter with one of these gorgeous birds. It swooped down and was flying right beside the truck as I started across the river....OMGosh.....do you know how big these things are up close??? and how loud?? They are HUGE!!! scared the jeepers outta me but how cool....luckily the traffic on other side of bridge noticed and stopped cuz he couldn't get away until off bridge because of the bridge framework. Then he just calmly flew off leaving me with my mouth hanging open....
So this scenery isn't anything you will ever see in Ks. but it seemed fitting for this regal bird. bird is colored with prismas rest is stamped and sponged.
If anyone knows the name of the old-'92 set that includes these mountains, please let me know. I was gifted it but no name.
TFL.....this is out in the mail to Sean....

These big birds are beautiful. We got up close & personal with 1 while on a boat tour off Cape Breton Island this summer. As the eagle circled our boat the tour operator tossed fish into the air & it swooped down & caught them. Very fascinating. Tfs.

And you didn't have a camera handy? Way cool and what an honor. I've seen them up close (well, not that close) and personal a few times and they are just amazing birds!
So, great card , with or without the wonderful story behind it!! But come on, Ks. really doesn't have hills like that...

I had an encounter with 6 of them feeding on an antelope carcass on the edge of the road in Wyoming. They are HUGE! Your card captures them just fine. I like it!

Amazing how you took your encounter for inspiration for this beautiful card. Goes to show we can be inspired by all things wonderful to create lovely cards. Sean is sure to LOVE this.
