Here's a baby girl card that kind of came together on its own. I saved pieces of the front of a DCWV paper pack called "Nana's Kids Nursery" from a couple of years ago, and have used the bits here on this card. Even the words 'baby girl' come from that paper pad cover. The whale was paper-pieced with a piece from that same stack.
I have some close-up pix on my blog if you'd like to see them.
THanks for looking!
PT: beggin' your pardon, there are no punchez today, but LOTS of doily fussy-cutting!

I just love this adorable card, Colleen. Doily fussy cutting is right...and lots of it. But, it doesn't count...LOL Love that little whale, though.

"Fussy cutting doesn't count." "Fussy cutting counts." Those two gals above can't agree on anything. I say it counts ~ but that doesn't mean I'm siding with Old Bluezi the Flake. I just say fussy cutting counts. Love the frugal aspect of your card - I'm such a saver that I can't even watch the show Hoarders! No, I'm not living the way you see on that show but I'm just saying.... Love how you've worked the bits of the cover into your card. Would never have known if you hadn't told us.... Great work!!

I just adore the frothy waves you made for you whale with the doily parts, Colleen! How very creative. And how clever of you to use the sample strip from the front of your paper pad in this layout.
