I used Plane Riley and stamped him on white and coloured him with copics. I also stamped him on scraps of dp for the airplane!
Then I stamped plane Riley onto the background piece and sponged in the clouds using a mask and soft sky ink. I glued down the cut out plane and banner, popping up the end of the banner and the 2 small clouds.
The card base is black, with a layer of riding hood red and then the main panel. At the bottom I used the MS cityscape punch with basic grey and sponged the edges, then I popped that up.
This weeks Destination Station is Sean, he's 23 and battling cancer, please follow the link above for all the info. I wanted to personalize it a bit, so the banner sentiment was hand written!

Hey Laurie! The I'm Late thread is gonna miss you this week! Snort! Look at you! No late this week! This is such a cute, cute card! I was thinking someone would bring Riley, well, you know he is a very accomplished pilot and his banners, well, they are quite effective! This is so very awesome! I love the skyline in the background! Wowza...Kearney, Nebraska is quite the metropolitan city! Who'd a thunk! Snort!
