Christmas Projects.
Thanks to all for your kind comments. Here is how I made this ornament.
This ornament is made with Acetate. There are directions for this on this site. Once I determined the size of acetate for my ornament, I ran a piece of vellum through my Xyron machine using the sticky cartridge. Stamp the snowman tag using black ink on the Vellum and again on a piece of scrap paper (this will be a mask). Cut out both snowman and the star close to the image. Use another piece of torn scrap paper to mask the acetate for the "snow bank", place the snow bank, star and snowman from the scrap paper where desired on the acetate and apply Vers-mark using a direct to paper method on to the acetate. Heat emboss the sky with Night of Navy EP. (Hint: lay acetate flat on table or counter, if the acetate starts to curl, continue to heat slowly and it will un-warp. Remove the mask. Using sharpies color your Vellum snowman and star, remove backing and apply to the previously masked area. Apply liquid applique with irredescent ice EP and heat till puffed. Allow to dry overnight as liquid applique is slow to dry thoroughly. Roll up acetate and slide into glass ornament. You can even add liquid applique to the other side of the acetate, it looks great from both sides (front/back). Top with Ribbon....Enjoy
