This is January's card for the Bible Verse challenge (a day late!) and for today's color challenge of white, river rock, and gray. I computer generated the Bible verse which is cut with Nesties and sponged while in the die. The river rock panel is embossed with the large dots folder. I cut some flowers with Nesties Peony's out of a used monthly devotional and sponged the edges with black and crunched them up - layered those up to build flowers and put a gray pearl in the center. Then punched some holes and put linen thread through to finish.

What a terrific job you've done with that wonderful sentiment!! Fantastic. And what a smashing idea to use old devotionals for your printed paper flowers!!! Brings new life to the 'Word'! I had some 'newspaper print designer paper' and had to be really careful choosing which words I wanted to use on a card I made because they really didn't 'fit'. This is perfect! You did a great job with these colours too! I have clicked that little heart under your card. ;-)

So pretty...love the scripture verse and the flowers! I would love to know what font you used on your computer generated verse! AND...how clever to use the devotional for your flowers! I will be doing this in the future!
