This card is also for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge. This week we are sending cards with cherries on them (Feb. is national cherry month) to Mothermark's neice, Shari, who could use lots of prayers and cheering up while she is battling breast cancer. You can learn more about it here .
My inspiration for this card is from this poster I found on line here .
First I stamped the jumbo SU wheel stamp Very Vintage in Sahara Sand, then both above and below that I stamped the SU wheel stamp Belle also in Sahara Sand ink. I shaded parts of these with warm gray Copic colors and sponged the edges with Sahara Sand. I punched the MS borders at the top and bottom with a platinum color shimmer paper and sponged with Early Espresso and glued on. Stamped the cherries using SU markers then colored in with Copics. Drew the branches connecting them and colored with Copics. Cut out the Cherries and branches and glued to main design. Mounted on a chocolate colored dp and then DCWV cream color sparkle paper and finally a piece of Soft Suede cardstock. Stamped the letters down the side and embossed with platinum ep and added the brads.
