What a great TLC challenge today. Thanks to Bev and Joan! I knew right away I wanted to add just a hint of color to my embossed background before embossing it. I also knew I wanted to try that technique on patterned paper.
I started out with October Afternoon Homemaker paper, embossed Allegro Embossing folder on it and brayered over that with Vintage Photo Distress ink. The background was then embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder.
I made this card with MFT's sketch of the week as well as for their February Guest Designer Challenge. You had to use two different colors of cardstock plus neutral, one patterned paper and three different embellishments. As my embellishments I used ribbon (and I LOVE that curling silver ribbon from May Arts), Brad (topping my red ribbon) and Rhinestones.
For more information about this card, check this blog post.
Thanks so much for looking! Have a wonderful day! Here...the sun is shining and I am getting to shoot a video.
Hugs and smiles
