This is for today's challenge to be inspired by something from Rooms by Zoya B. What a spectacular place for inspiration...thanks so much Holly and Stef.
I was fooling around with my Pearlex yesterday and tried stamping and embossing on black cs with gold, then brushing copper Pearlex over it. The gold embossing resisted the Pearlex and a lot of the black cs was left showing through. I sprayed on Krylon so the Pearlex wouldn't rub off but it would up giving it a great sheen. I just loved the look and when I saw this armoire I thought it was a perfect opportunity to try it again. I used CB's diamond eb to emulate the mesh and the ribbon for the hardware.
What a fun challenge.
