Loved Lydia's challenge today, I've been meaning all month to make a card with this stamp. At first I thought we had to use something fuzzy, but when I paid attention I saw that warm fuzzy animals were ok . My dad started feeding mice in his kitchen, you can guess the rest. But once they stay outside I am fine with them, and I love the Penny Black mice.
5 3/4" square base, sponged with Old Paper.
WARM red paper from Basic Grey Marrakech, stitched with brown thread.
Penny Black Ode to Joy stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks - Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo, Barn Door, Spun Sugar, Soot Black, Old Paper, Scattered Straw, and cut out.
Oval cut from DP (maker's name cut off, Good Cheer Gingerbread is the pattern) with Mega Ovals, edges sponged with brown and a handwritten sentiment because my only plain Just a Note stamp tore a while back. Mice popped up on foam. Eyelets set in 1/2" circles of watercolour paper sponged with Old Paper and edges wiped with brown ink.

Love these mice. Never liked the ones in my kitchen I'm sure you know what happened to them. Very cute card and I love the oval of music which you wrote very nicely on.
