I was so excited to see that Elegant Eggplant was in the color challenge today because I found a 2$ bargain bag of ribbons at the thrift store yesterday that included the organdy ribbon and red mesh (among over 12 rolls of ribbon and other random embellishments) that I used on this card. The bg is made using the Inlaid/Inset Embossing technique which has become a favorite of mine. I punched all the red and vanilla hearts then glued them onto the black bg and ran them through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice embossing folder. I clear embossed the eggplant heart and the sentiment circle for a little extra pizzazz!
