Congrats to Emily! Wonderful gallery and I picked Thank You to case. I changed the images, the colors and left off the felt and twine. I kept the terrific CAS layout and butterfly theme but changed mine to a birthday card.
Being a CAS card, this was a little out of my usual zone. And it shoudn't have taken me as long as it did, but I was having one of those days. The black hole in my work table went super nova today and a lot of butterflies were lost in space. Eventually they'll turn up. I think.
Space Odyssey aside, this was pretty easy. I stamped the vine part of the lg butterfly bg w/ either dk green or warm green in three stripes on the white linen c/s. On a pc of white, I stamped the three small butterflies w/ deep lagoon, pumpkin spice and berrylicious inks and cut them out. Three butterflies were punched and the same inks applied dtp. I traced the punch out three times for a shadow shape for my butterflies and again used the inks dtp.
The sentiment was stamped using both green inks and I used a Spellbinders labels 4 for my partial die cut. The finished card measures 5.5 x 4.25.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Julie, was going to turn off the computer and thought I give a quick check to see if any more cards had been posted. Yours really jumped out at me. Love, love, love those butterflies...and the limbs/vines! Great bright colors!
