When I saw this bag of M&M's I couldn't resist making 2 cards - this just had to be a retirement card - so I made Bertie 2 cards - hope she enjoys.
Again, I cut out the image and then layered it over black, used a punch to make the vertical border and added some sticky polka dot embellies to add a little interest.
So here's the funny part - I made the card, totally satisfied with it and then realized I couldn't get it in the envelope - I had totally spaced trimming the base card before I started working on it - I finally found a 6x9 envelope to put it.

A Romantic M&M? Those polka dot stickies almost look good enough to eat, too.
It's small cards that are usually my downfall when it comes to not having envelopes. Sometimes for selling I make slightly bigger than normal ones - always convinced in my mind that I have the right size envelopes. Not only do I never I have the envelopes, I never even had a template till I made one in despair one day.

Bwaaa-haaa-haaa! I got such a kick out of Broom's comment about this guy being the Hugh Heffner of m&ms. He is quite debonair, isn't he? AND I got such a kick out of your "thinking outside of the box" on my one envelope. Thank you, Kit, for making TWO totally adorable m&m cards for me! I love them both and appreciate your participating to make my day happy and special!
