This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER # 206 - whoistracy. I chose to CASE her CAKE ON FIRE CARD.
I changed the layout, theme and colors. The tape measure and buttons inspired me to create something using a set just released earlier this week from MARKS FINEST PAPERS called Sew What?
The dp I used just arrived in the mail Saturday and I could not wait to use it. It is called Crafts Fair. I created the bottom dp panel using the same style and stamping the thimble with old olive, riding hood red, bermuda bay and pretty in pink inks then colored with coordination copic markers. The sentiment was stamped with riding hood red.
I stamped the spool of thread in Momento Cantelope then colored with copics. I cut it out and adhered the threaded needle to the spool. This is attached to pretty in pink cs cut in an oval shape with my Fiskars oval punch. The yellow cs was cut and embossed with Nesties Label 6 then I colored just the beaded tops with BG15 but it ended up turning a green color :( I tied some so saffron ribbon across.
My layout is from Saturday's OUR CREATIVE CORNER CHALLENGE - Sketch.

What a fun, beautiful and colorful card - I love your dp and your coordinated stamping! What a fab idea to add a threaded needle - that could end up coming in really handy for the lucky person who receives this cute card!
