We were to get inspired by decorative nails (as in fingernail) for the Inspiration Challenge, I was inspired by the argyle with flower 0436 also the flourish 0419 for my bottom panel.
-The flower is five layers of mulberry paper. I tacked the layers together with glue and backed it with a punched circle of cardstock (the die cuts the center out of the flower) so the bard had something to hold on to.
-The Flower Soft was attached with AleeneÂ’s tacky glue.
-The flower and leaves were sprayed with Glimmer mist.
-The gems are attached with Diamond Glaze (any lacquer product will work). To make the process fast and easy I squeeze a drop of lacquer onto a waxed paper (I repurpose the paper that stickers and labels are purchased on), touch the end of a large corsage pin to the lacquer then to the back of the embellishment which picks it up, position it on the card and press down with a finger, there is a little time to slide the embellishment into position if needed before it sticks tight.
If you'd like to see the insert and envelope at a better view it's on blog in this direct link.

I love velum paper but don't use it very often because my ideas are so limited for it. Thanks for a beautiful way to use it. This will be a definite CASE! TFS
