Today, on the MARKS FINEST PAPER JANUARY BLOG HOP, the spotlighted newly released set from MARKS FINEST PAPERS is SEW WHAT. It is such a lovely vintage set for a seamstress friend.
I followed the instructions found here on SCS to create this STAIR STEP FOLD CARD with a bit of a tweeking to it. I did not take my folds all the way to the end and made a cut so the right side would stand up like a card front.
My dp is from Cosmo Cricket "MATERIAL GIRL" and used the colors in the dp to color with copics.
I actually put paper to my sewing machine for this one. I mean how could you make a card with sewing notions on it and not sew on it. LOL. The thimbles, spool and scissors are stamped, colored and cut out.
TFL and visit MY GALLERY and MY BLOG for a close up on this pic.

Love this card and you did a great job with the Stair Step Fold Card technique. Love the layers of fun images from this darling set. I am going to case this one for your featured stamper day - TFS!

Neva you probably don't remember making this gorgeous card, it was more than 2 years ago. I don't quite know how I found it, but I'm sure glad I did. GORGEOUS, FANTASTIC, BEAUTIFUL!!!
