This was my first color challenge, and what a challenge! I'm not a "pink" kind of girl. I don't wear pink. I don't really use my pink papers when I make cards.
I had a single sheet of Cherry Cobbler, and a stack of Pretty in Pink. I didn't have the Melon Mambo, but had something close enough. I used Cranberry Crisp ink to approximate Cherry Cobbler, and a random mid-tone pink to approximate the Melon Mambo.
As I was flipping through my binder, trying to think of something to make, my eyes stopped on the Snow Flurries set. I've never used them. Pink snowflakes? Why not! I may not be comfortable using pink, but I'm very comfortable with snow themes. It fits the CAS challenge for this week, too. Bonus!
I also realized that I have a single "Let it snow" stamp, which is odd because I love snow and have a lot of snowflake/snow images. I'm going to have to remedy that.
