I made a Mother's Day card using a fabulous sketch from Taylor Von Bruggen of Taylored Expressions (USA) from way back on June 11, 2010: Sketch Challenge #117. Thanks Taylor! I have links etc. on my Blog.
The Star Lilies were coloured with Derwent Coloursoft and Prismacolor pencils + OMS, then I lightly coloured around the image with blue chalk.
I decided to add some Stampendous Lemonade yellow fun flock to the pollen on the stamens. Originally, I added glitter, but it didn't look right, so I scraped it off.
The rosepink punched border was made with one of my new Nellie Snellen border dies. I added a Scor-Pal line just above the punched border (bit hard to see in the photo).
I ran the designer paper through my CB using my Jamara ef. The ribbon was attached in 2 separate elements, and the bow itself was made with my Bow Easy. I added tiny rosepink punched hearts which are the leftover punchies from using my EK Success Arrows border punch.
Thanks for having a peek at my card! Please come and have a peek at my Blog - this link will take you directly to my card: http://instead-of-ironing.blogspot.c...e-snellen.html I have close-up photos and a photo of the inside and more in-depth info.

What a beautiful card, the flocking on the stamens is awesome! You've added so many elements to this card, and they all work so well together! TFS!!!!!!!!!!!
