As I was up-loading this I realized that my card has a fox on it. Today's QFTD is Foxy67. How cool is that? Thus the title, foxy in the trees. hehe Pat, congratulations on being chosen the QFTD42. You are so deserving. You leave many wonderful comments on all our cards. Plus your gallery is just a delight for the eyes. So happy for you........now onto this card.....
I chose two of Pat's cards, this one and this one . Both were woodsy scenes and since I just bought this stamp I had to use it.
I probably would color this different next time. I was trying some new oil pastels sticks that I just got and am not quite sure how to use them yet. But I gave it a go anyway. For the blue sky I used a prisma pencil and gamsol. Sponged the edges with rusty hinge.
The bg dp is this fancy paper I think it is called wasabi or something like that. Kind of expensive but very pretty.
Miss Peggy added a little extra challenge that was to add hardware if we so chose. I added a blue brad and a gold leaf charm hanging on thin jute.
Used a nestie for the spot light. Took a gold leaf pen and ran it around the inside edge, then sponged the outside with victorian velvet popping it up.
Put this all on a cream shiny card and took a picture. Well, Pat, sit back, put your feet up, get all cozy and enjoy your time as Queen!.......TFL :0)

I think your scene is awesome - and the little fox is just perfect. I was running an errand today into Springfield and along Rte. 54 near a wooded area was a red fox carrying something in his mouth - headed for the timber! It's unusual to see one around here - they usually stay so secluded.
