I loved the print she used for her background with the florals and text. I also loved her soft blues. (although my card isn't in that color family.)
I chose to use a napkin as my "paper". I ironed my napkin on parchment paper. I cut out a butterfly from another panel on the napkin. I glued the napkin on the card front panel. It rounded around the top so there is a nice edge on the back of the front.
I used distressed ink and distressed around the edges of the main panel
I painted the orange centers of the flowers and parts of the butterfly with my distress stickles from the TLC 306 Challenge where Joan taught us how to do that technique.
I sprayed the card with Marshmallow glimmer mist. I attached the cut out butterfly with pop dots.
I can also count this card in the Stamp 2 Spend challenge for this year.
Pat, I hope your reign as queen is a fabulous time. It was fun to see all your cards and it was hard to pick one. You have a lovely gallery. Enjoy your reign.

What a beautiful card Bev. I see how you were inspired by Pat's pretty collage. A napkin, my oh my, fabulous work, painting and all, the popped up butterfly is a beautiful addition. TFS and for honouring our Queen Pat. I knew you would agree with my choice, she is just a doll! hugsxo
