Happy New year!! This is the 100th CAS challenge - can you believe it? I'm so glad this challenge got started and very happy to be a part of it! This week the challenge is to use the kissing technique on your card.
For my card I used one of those shadow stamps, inked it with Ballet Blue ink, then took a cherry blossom image and inked that with cocoa ink and pressed it onto the inked shadow stamp. The shadow stamp was then stamped onto white cardstock.
I used a Martha Stewart label punch to make a window out of a square piece of paper and sponged the edges with the same blue ink. The stamped piece was placed behind the window, then the entire piece was mounted on chocolate, and blue cardstock.
You can't tell from the photo, but I used a stardust gel pen to outline the cherry blossom - it looks very nice irl!
Thanks for checking it out and I hope you will play along with us as we celebrate our 100th week!!
