I love the medallion stamp and I love to do the technique of stamping a solid color on the Medallion and then using the daubers, daub a contrasting color on the ends, or wherever you want a different color.
I also love stamping directly onto designer paper and that is what I did with this card.
I don't buy a lot of valentines stamps so I try to use what I already have to create what valentines cards I do send or give.

very pretty and definitely very valentiney. I have not invested in the medallion but did in MDS, so I will have to remember this technique for another stamp in the future.

Actually, the technique is called the Dauber Technique and I think I learned it right here on SCS.
Here is a better example of what it can look like, because on this card above, I did not "daub" on enough chocolate chip.....
