I'm going back in time to do some of my beloved Midnight Madness Sketches that I haven't been able to get to.
I had SO MUCH fun with this card. I love birds, script and musical scores, so this was a win/win/win for me. I bought the bird image from the Michael's $1 bin awhile ago, but was intimidated to use it after I had seen ejkeaton, a/k/a Emily, use it a couple times on her beautiful cards. But, I gave it a whirl!
My DH gave me a musical score b/g stamp for Christmas and I was SO HAPPY to be able to use it. I stamped the panels with the b/g stamp and paper pieced the bird. You can never get too much music, right?
I embossed the first layer with allegro ef and the image mat I embossed with script ef. Added a little dazzling diamonds to the bird's beak, wing and tail. Popped up the bird and the image panel on dimensionals. Added some delicate flower ribbon to the top and placed 3 black pearls in center of each flower.
Thanks so much for taking a "tweet", I mean "peek" and have a wonderful New Year!

Pam,
This is so, so pretty! I love the panels of music and the little bird pieced in music as well. The black and white combination is gorgeous. You did a wonderful job with your new birdy stamp - he is very cute - yet very elegant! I'm glad you're back with your beautiful cards!! Happy New Year to you and your hubby!

Wow, wow, WOW, Pamzi!!! This is a truly amazing card!! I love how you used the musical score stamp. It's great as a background and looks awesome paper-pieced as the body of that sweet little singing bird!! I think this looks fantastic in black and white--so sophisticated and true to an actual music score. I'm so proud of you for finally inking up that cute little tweeter!!! And I love how you used that pretty flower trim above the bird. Super card, Pamzi. I really love it!!! (And thanks for the shout-out, too, Punchkateer friend!!!!!!!!!!!)

OMG, this must be my birthday card for this year. You know, I'm a bird lover as well as a lover of all those other things...sheep, birdhouses, Christmas bells, snowmen, on and on. I love this in black and white and the musical embossing folder is perfect with this tweet tweet. The paper piecing is just perfect. LOVE it bunches!!!
