LOVE this! But I have no clue on where to begin casing one of these... What is/where did you get/how did you make the bracelet? How did you attach the polyshrink to the bracelet?? So many questions!! Can you let me in on the how-tos or point me in the right direction for the instructions? Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
I meant to give more detail but I hit the process button too quickly! I originally learned from a friend and a bracelet on here last winter. The bracelets are at www.eloxite.com under products, bracelets, linked and come in gold & silver for @ $1.75 each. The polyshrink squares are 1"-1 1/8" square. My friend used Borders Mini and I have used Around & About on the outside before too. The Around & About stampset is a little too big and you have to make sure to cut partially into that border to make it 1 1/8". Any bigger and they don't fit on the bracelet properly. (I learned that the hard way). Also, I have used Staz-on, fabricos, sharpies, fabric markers & Ancient Pages for ink. The hard part is to not smudge it when shrinking it. I shrink with the heat gun and flatten with a wood block. They are glued with CE and I also brush the tops with CE. I have had the ink run when brushing the CE on top randomly. I can only guess it's certain colors but it's a good idea to experiment if you are doing a lot. The beads are on 9mm jumprings. We also learned the hard way not to get them from Michaels because they are too strong to pry with your fingers. I do use a pliers but you need to push with your thumb. The beads are available at Wal-mart but not the jumprings. I bought them from Hobby Lobby. My dd's smaller fingers are a lot better for stringing on the beads than mine are and this takes the most patience. Also, make sure you push down a little on the tiles using the CE. I have had a couple fall off and I don't know if this was caused by not a tight seal or if I should use a better adhesive.
