After a long time I finally managed to do a SCS challenge again... This is for today's Ways To Use challenge: Sterling Silver.
I used the Cuttlebug negative technique for the background, i.e. sponged my Cuttlebug folder with silver ink before placing some blue cardstock inside and then runnig it through the Big Shot. As the blue cardstock itself has some texture, it gave this wonderful "chalky" effect. The big sparkling silver snowflake is die-cut with a cutting+embossing die.

This is so your style, Christianne! Elegant and beautiful in color and presentation. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I trust Mr. Clause visited the 2 little guys and managed to leave something for them to play with. Have a wonderful New Year.

It's so great to be viewing one of your cards. I like how you used the silver ink. It looks like snow and the snowflakes look like foot prints in the snow. I like the great big snowflake too. You always come up with some neat techniques!! So great to see you. I'm so happy you can create!! :>)
